We’re looking for experienced, passionate writers in every field. If you only have one of those two, make it passion. Experience will come.

Being part of the SimonYoungWriters network is casual but possibly life-changing. It involves:

• working from home
• writing about what interests you
• participating in a worldwide community of writers, sharing ideas, experiences and stories

Am I good enough?

Good question. That’s why we ask you two big questions before taking you on:

1 Let’s see some of your words. Published or not, doesn’t matter. We just want to see what kind of writer you are.

2 What switches you on? What would you write about, even if no-one read it?

We want to connect organisations with the best writer for the job - meaning someone who has the right combination of experience, passion, interest and curiosity. Whether you’re ‘good enough’ is up to you.

Does it cost anything?

No. We make our money by adding a margin to your rate.

Is there a minimum amount of work I have to do?

No. It’s purely based on what comes in, and if you’re available.

Will I be an employee of SimonYoungWriters?

No. You’ll be an independent contractor, running your own business.

Can I have my own clients?

Yes. (At last, a yes answer!) Your agreement with SimonYoungWriters is non-exclusive.

Can I work in your office?

Yes again. Pop into our office in Queen Street, Auckland and grab a seat. (Better phone first; sometimes we do the working from home thing as well).

How do I join?

Just contact us and we’ll get you signed up and in the door. Figuratively speaking.
